This module teaches best practice for preparing weanlings and yearlings for sale, combining equine science, horsemanship, and professional sales preparation. From conception through to the sale ring, each stage of development plays a critical role in shaping a yearling’s value, wellbeing, and future athletic potential.

Whether you are a breeder, vendor, pinhooker, stud farm owner or employee, preparing a yearling for sale is a detailed and rewarding process. This module will guide you through every stage, helping you make informed decisions that optimise the health, performance, and marketability of each horse.

The module also includes practical checklists, case studies, and videos, supporting the training of both stable staff and managers in real-world settings.
